Ribbonbar Tab Shapes

Is there something I'm missing... I have the Ribbonbar with the Office2007Black theme.  I set the tab shapes to TabVsShape and I can see it at design time.  However, the tabs are still rectangular at run-time.  What am I missing?

Hi Tim,

Thank you for writing.

I tested your case following these steps:

1. Change the RadRibbonBar theme to Office2007Black
2. Open the Visual Style Builder from the Action Menu (available through the RadRibbonBar's Smart Tag)
3. From the Control Structure tree in the VSB, navigate to RootRadElement >> RadRibbonBarElement >> RadTabStripElement >> TabLayoutPanel >> TabItem
4. From the Expert Mode panel, set the Shape property to TabVsShape.
5. Set the Theme Name, then save the theme to a file.
6. Using the RadThemeManager, add the theme to your project and apply it to the RadRibbonBar.

The result is that the TabVsShaped tabs both at design and run-time. Could you confirm that the above steps work for you as well.

Thanks for the response.  I've never used the VSB before, so I'm still unsure of what its capable of.  But I followed your instructions and they worked like a charm!

I am trying to follow these steps but don't have some of these items. Has this structure changed in the latest version?

Also, I watched the video that you linked to and they demonstrated a *visual* editor (instead of the hierarchy editor). How do I bring that up?
