Hello,
I need to make win form looks like Outlook Email Editor.
1. Do I need to use rich textbox for editor or any radEditor available for Win Forms?
2. Do I need to write event code for each functionality given in ribbonbar (default buttons)?
3. Is there anything available like ASP.NET radEditor so user can format text in that editor directly?

Any help will much appreciated.

Thank you,

Samir

Hi Samir,

Thank you for writing.

Currently, we do not have RadEditor for WinForms control. We have plans to make one in the future, but we cannot give you a specific timeframe when it will be available.

Fortunately, we have a ASP.NET RadEditor you can use in your windows application. You can learn more about how to do that in the Knowledge Base under: Using Telerik RadEditor for ASP.NET in a Windows application. This RadEditor has all the buttons you may need to format your text, so you do not need to implement all that functionality yourself.

Should you have additional questions, do not hesitate to contact us.

All the best,
