At the moment upload control displays as 'Select files..' grey button.
1)How could I change it to show as icon only lets say 100px by 100px ?
2)How could I change it to show as div with some text?

Hello Witek,

Such custom modifications are not supported out of the box by the Upload widget and we cannot provide technical assistance regarding them.

If you have any specific questions about the Upload widget functionality, do not hesitate to contact us.

Thank you for a quick reply. Just to clarify: am I stuck with grey button and 'select files..' text then? There is no possibility for  customisation and different text? I have black header with white icons and your button just doesn't look right. I can't believe that there is nothing we could do about that? If it is not supported can you provide me with some hack to do it ?  I am using angularjs if that makes any difference.

Hello Witek,

You could use the localization.select configuration option to configure the text of the select button. As for the styling, you could try another Kendo UI theme or use the Kendo UI ThemeBuilder and build a custom one that matches the requirements.

Would it be possible to keep upload button hidden and trigger it by click on some div with icon?

Hello Witek,

This requirement cannot be achieved due to browsers security reasons related to <input type="file" /> elements.
