Hi,
Unfortunately, the requested feature is not supported as the menu component does not provide it out of the box.
If you have the time, please submit a new feature request in our UserVoice portal, from which we generate ideas about any new features and enhancements of Kendo Ui for Angular.
Indeed, there is no proper way of implementing the required functionality. Probably it could be achieved with some heavy CSS customization. But it looks like currently we cannot provide a workaround or guideline unless the functionality is available as a built in feature.

Is there seriously still no way to have a Kendo UI Angular menu bar that is responsive? Are there any Kendo UI components for Angular that are actually responsive? The Toolbar for jQuery is responsive, but it doesn't seem like the Angular version is. Or am I wrong about that? Responsive design is a pretty major feature of a good website and you are saying that your expensive component library can't handle it?

Indeed, there is no responsive behavior of the Kendo Ui for Angular menu component. However, a more suitable component, for the specific use case scenario, probably would be a navbar or a menu bar component. Unfortunately, currently such components are not available as part of the Kendo Ui for Angular suite. In general, all of Kendo Ui for Angular components are considered responsive as they have the ability to adjust their dimensions based on the screen size. For example the toolbar adjusts its width and wraps its content when we resize the viewport. Indeed, this behavior could be further updated, so that there is an explicit mobile version. Check the following article for another example of achieving responsive behavior for the Grid:

Аs Kendo Ui for Angular is a rather new product, than Kendo Ui for jQuery, it may be missing some features and the suite is still not as diverse as its counterpart. If you have the time, feel free to log any feature request in our Feedback portal. That will help us to track the demand for the specific feature request and provide it in a future release.

I have been using the Kendo Packages for our project. We also have the same issue. Could you please suggest any solutions for this?

Indeed. such feature is still not available as a built in feature. What could be done at this point is to dynamically change the orientation of the Menu component so that it is displayed vertically when the screen size becomes too small.
