Check an update we posted in the support ticket you opened on the same question (ticket ID 1102139). If anyone is having the same question, below is the reply from the ticket:
"Default parameters editors can be replaced with the editors required in your scenario, for example dropdown list. An example provided in How To: Create a Custom Parameter Editor help article demonstrated how to use the Kendo DropDownList widget for a single parameter value parameter editor.
Another approach is to hide the viewer's parameters area and to create a custom UI for sumbitting parameters to report. Submitted values can be passed to report as described in How To: Pass Values to Report Parameters help article."
