I am attempting to install the Telerik Reporting internal build 6.0.12.504. I click on the .msi to initiate the installation then receive a message "This setup requires the .NET Framework 2.0 or higher." After clicking "OK" the installation closes.
I have all the frameworks from 2.0 - 4.0 installed. I am a licensed user of Telerik reporting. Surely the error message does not describe the real problem? What is the reason I receive this message and how can I complete the installation?

Hello Dewey,
Make sure you run the msi file as Administrator. If this fails, then run Telerik Reporting installer from command prompt (again as administrator) with logging information enabled:
msiexec /i path_to\Telerik_Reporting_Q1_2012_DEV.msi -l*xv install.log
and provide a link to the log file.
