Hello All,

I have to create reports to calculate the total hours of the appointments with the details from the Appointments table.
As the recurring appointments get generated on fly and do not get stored in the database how should we include these recurring hours in the total hours?
Please reply as soon as possible.

Thanks,
Roshani

Hi roshani,

To manipulate with recurring appointments and get the the hours of recurring appointments - you need to operate with Occurences property of the RecurrenceRule. Take a look at this help topic for an example.

Please feel free to ask me if you have further questions.

Best wishes,

Hi,

We have the same requirement - however the link to the article is no longer valid.
Can you provide a link to an example of how to report on recurring events?

Thanks
Simon

Hi Simon,

We have fixed the broken link. You can also look at this kb article -
http://www.telerik.com/support/kb/aspnet-ajax/scheduler/how-to-display-all-radscheduler-appointments-in-gridview.aspx

Or, you can expand the recurrence rules on the SQL server using UDF as shown in this blog post -

Kind regards,
