Dear Telerik Support,

I create a table in report designer then I use it to display on Chrome. My problem is some border is thicker than the other , even though I have not change any border width.

Greetings

Hi Atipong,

Indeed, some borders width might be thicker or thinner. This is due to the GDI component installed on the machine. It uses anti-aliasing that softens sharp edges so they appear less serrated when rendered. The GDI component works together with the display driver software to determine which pixels will be turned on to show the line on a particular display.

Our recommendation is to set the border width to minimum 2px (using pixels instead of points because they are more media oriented unit). It would be rendered correctly on a machine with 96dpi resolution afterward.

For more information, refer to Design Considerations for Report Item Layout (Rendering order of report items and borders) section of the documentation article.

Dear Silviya,

My report contain a lot column, If border is larger it might look weird or hard to read. Is there any way to use border width 1px or 1pt (without thicker border)?

Thanks in advance

Hi Atipong,

Report Designers uses Image rendering to display reports. I can assure you that there would be no issues with borders rendered either from a web application (uses HTML Rendering) or WPF application (uses WPFXAML Rendering).
