report section width issue

When we place a table in to a report section .Upon rendering as the section is spanning with page settings and not with its content. We are observing gaps in  the report because of it. Is there any solution to fix this issue or a work around to over come the following issue.

Hi Harish,

In general, the PageSettings are used to specify settings that modify the way a page will be exported/printed. The report content have to be adjusted based on the page settings, but not vice-versa.

When viewing the report in Print Preview mode(Physical Page Renderer) which uses pagination based on physical page size, you might need to alter the layout of the report, so the report looks and prints correctly.

I suggest to try adjusting the physical page  - check the PageSettings property of the Report and try to adjust it so that the report content fits inside.
Note that usable page area is the area of the physical page that remains after allocating space for margins, column spacing (multi-column), and the page header and footer. In the report designers there will appear a warning triangle in case the report width does not match the available physical page width.
