Report Error Design Time Value cannot be null. Parameter name: instance

When I try to open any of the reports in the designer I am currently getting this error  The stack trace is

Hi Frank,

Such error can occur in the VS Report Designer, if the project uses Telerik Reporting version different than the installed on the machine.
Please check if you have Telerik Reporting installed on the machine, if the IDE covers the minimum system requirements, and finally test running the Upgrade Wizard.
