Had a great time digging into the reporting tool but unsure how to get the example report below made.

Inline image 1

The trouble is I have 37 nutrients to show and they do not fit horizontally on a page so the page needs to repeat three times before it starts the next days food as I can fit a third of the 37 nutrients to a page as per above example draft.

Needs to have:
1. Date category
2. Nutrient category x 3 with nutrients 1-12 ,14-25 , 26-37 as there are too many nutrients on a page. How do I do this part????
3. Meal Category
4. Detail section/group

I have played around with crosstabs but repeats the data too many times? Might be doing it wrong.

I have successfully made a simpler version that fits on a page, see below, but if I need to add more nutrients what is the best way to do this?

Hi,

You have used a data item (subreport, table, graph, list or crosstab) in the report's detail section. However the data items are a separate data region and does not make use of the report's data source. They have their own DataSource property which you have set in order to populate the item with data. However if you have in addition set the Report.DataSource property. The report engine will create a detail section with the data item for every data record. To avoid this behavior our suggestion is to set the Report.DataSource property to none or move the table item to another non repeating section such as report header or unbound group header (group without grouping).

Give it a try and if you need additional assistance please attach the example images.

Have you tried the new visualization options in Telerik Reporting Q2 2013? You can get them from your account.
