I have a report that is fairly simple but for some clients, the report ends up being 60-70 pages.  Since all pages have to generate before the report will show any pages, this sometimes takes up to 2 minutes.  The clients are very unhappy about this.

Is there any setting that I can change to make the pages show quickly and the rest show as they are rendered?

Your help is appreciated.

Hi Phil,

If the report contains repeating data check Data Binding Problems - Repeating data help article.

You can set the view mode of the Report Viewer you use to PrintPreview. This will page the report and help to display the first page faster.
General suggestions for optimizing the report's performance are provided in Performance Considerations help article.
