There is no Calendar Control for Xamarin.Forms available as of today, right?

The structure of the Forum (Xamarin -> Forms -> Calendar) makes me believe, that there are plans for such a control.
Is there a release date for it?

I need to have an iOS and Android App with a calendar view ready by the end of the year and would prefer Xamarin.Forms.

Yes, you are correct in your assumptions, a Calendar control for Xamarin.Forms is expected to be released in mid-December. It will combine the features of the Xamarin.iOS and Xamarin.Android Calendars.
