Hi,

We are planning to start a new project in ASP.Net MVC and are planning to use telerik controls for ASP.Net MVC. We were thinking about using some client side MV* framework for better organization of client side code. Can you please guide on:

1. Which client side framework/library is more compatible with telerik's ASP.Net MVC controls e.g. Knockout JS or Angular JS or ?
2. Telerik recommends using such frameworks with already existing client side API of controls or not?

Any recommendations?

Thanks

Hello Eric,

Knockout and AngularJS are not supported with the MVC wrappers. The reason is that the they are incompatible technologies and cannot work together in harmony. You can use AngularJS and Knockout with Kendo UI without the MVC wrappers, and you can also take advantage of our premium support services if you go with the Kendo UI AngularJS directives.

Ok, and in order to build a Single Page Application, we can use SPA framework with ASP.Net MVC wrappers for KendoUI, right?

Hello Eric,

Like Kiril said, the two concepts (ASP.NET MVC wrappers and client-side SPA) are incompatible. We do not recommend (nor support) that approach.
