I have a report which is about 30 inches in width for the pagesize, due to the amount(columns) of data it shows. So because of this my parameter boxes and the preview button are skewed far to the right. I need a way to force these to the left (left justify more or less) so as to make this easier for the user. Is there a way to do this. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Jason,

The report parameters area offers only basic UI which is suitable for most of the used scenarios and it cannot be customized. Instead of changing it you can implement your own parameters area without any restrictions on what controls to use. Further you can take their values and assign them to the respective report parameters programmatically. This approach is the most universal one as it does not force any restrictions at all.
Another possible approach is to leave the viewer with some acceptable size and it would show scrollbars if the report cannot be accommodated within.

Sincerely yours,

Hi just a suggestion.

The report parameters area offers only basic UI

A few options may be added to this UI,  for example number of columns in this area.. default is two.
this option could help to many people I guess. For example I need set up 3 columns to didn't lost space..  thanks.
