Ok, I don't know if this is an issue with RadControls, or just Visual Studio in general, but basically, I can't select different pages on a pageview, or anything that has child controls within the designer. Also, the bottom gray area of the designer now shows ALL controls that are on the form, instead of just things like timers, background workers, etc. (see screenshot).
If anyone has run into this before, any ideas what's up?
Thanks!!

Hello,
Just to say that I haven't experienced this issue before. I rarely get an issue with the designer (VS2010) but when I do, it is usually sorted with a restart of VS as it's often a memory problem. I'd start by resetting your toolbox.
If you can post a sample that replicates it, I'd be happy to take a look at it for you.

Hello Phillip Foster,
Thank you for writing.
This behavior is most likely caused by a missing reference to the Telerik.WinControls.UI.Design.dll (most probably, it is missing from your GAC). Could you please make sure that you have this dll referenced? Then restart Visual Studio and all should be fine.
The better approach is to have all the previous version of our suites installed and install only the latest version. This should add the Designer dll in your GAC and you should not experience such issues anymore.
Let me know if you need further assistance.

So, a late response to this, but it seems. When I use the upgrade options in Visual Studios, it does download the new controls, but it doesn't put them into the GAC, I'm not sure why. However if you download and install using the msi installer. The dlls are registered and the designer works as it should.
Not sure if anyone else has seen this, but just thought I would put that out there.
Thanks!
