We have an app that needs to display on monitors set to various resolutions. I've added a RadScrollablePanel to the larger ones so that the contents will scroll left/right and up/down based on a these various resolutions. All works well expect for this one. Its maximized with a container window just like several others However, when I open the UI it renders as shown in the screen capture. For some reason, the window adds extra space on the right which was not there before the RadScrollablePanel was added. After the load event fires I can see that the Size property of the RadScrollablePanel and the form itself are comparable to other forms that render correctly.

What could be throwing this off?

Thanks

Carl

Hello, Carl,

Thank you for the provided information. Based on your description, the extra space on the right after adding a RadScrollablePanel is likely related to how scrollbars, margins, and DPI scaling interact within the control. However, in order to assist you further I would need to replicate this behavior locally. Is it possible to provide me with your form or somehow try to isolate this issue in a separate project that I can run on my side? What is the resolution and DPI setting on the monitor where this issue happens? This way I could be able to investigate the issue more precisely and think of a possible solution for you.

Looking forward to your reply.

Of course when I move it to a separate test app the UI works perfectly!

This resulted in my narrowing down the code in my UI to get you a sample app. In doing so I found the culprit. There was code that stretched one of the table panels wider than the form size.

    Bottom line: False alarm.

    Thanks
