Hello krishna,

Do you have a reference to:

Telerik.Windows.Controls.dll
Telerik.Windows.Controls.Input.dll
Telerik.Windows.Controls.Navigation.dll
Telerik.Windows.Controls.RibbonBar.dll

Hello krishna,

then I guess that you are using an older version of the binaries, the RadRibbonWindow was recently introduced. Please download the latest binaries and let us know how it goes.

Hi,

I also have the same issue. Not able to work with RibbonUI from the example http://www.telerik.com/help/silverlight/radrichtextbox-features-wire-up-ui-using-radribbonbar.html
I referenced  all the assemblies from the latest binaries from Q1 2011

I get the following error at design time.
Error 1 'telerikRibbonBar' is an undeclared prefix. Line 15, position 10.

Please help.

Thanks
Ramesh

Hi Ramesh,

We are not aware of such an existing issue with RadRibbonBar. Could you please send us a sample project reproducing the issue. This way we will be better able to determine the cause for the error and respond properly. Thank you for your cooperation.

Why is it that the SDK documents don't include the using statements/references required to get these controls working correctly? The RadRibbonWindow help does not indicate anywhere that could see the need to reference

Telerik.Windows.Controls.dll
Telerik.Windows.Controls.Input.dll
Telerik.Windows.Controls.Navigation.dll
Telerik.Windows.Controls.RibbonBar.dll

Is there some more general guidance that lays out these requirements that I may have missed?

Hello Sean,

The required assemblies for the controls are listed in the Getting Started articles of the controls. Because the RadRibbonWindow control is part of the RadRibbonView suite you can find the required dlls in the Getting Started article of the ribbonview. Additionally, you can find the assemblies required by each control in the Controls Dependencies article.
