Hello,

I am using OpenAccess and the Telerik Winform Controls for a new project.

I wanted to use the hierarchical-view of the RadGridView in Connection with an OpenAccess Object of type A that contains a collection of type B.

But it does not work because i don´t have any "ID Property" (or something else) to connect those types.

Is it possible to use the hierarchical-view if the only connection between parent and child is that the parent contains it´s childs?

Regards,
Johannes Atzmüller

Hello Johannes Atzmüller,

Thank you for writing. RadGridView still does not support building hierarchy through custom objects which contain collection of other child objects. Currently, you have to build a hierarchy by parent-child linked fields in a relation. The good news is that actually we have plans to introduce the required feature in the next major release Q1 2010.

Do not hesitate to contact me again if you have other questions.

Best wishes,
