i have a radcombobox which i set items design time.when i want to select an item by value it does not work.
my code :
cmbCallerType.SelectedValue = 1;
how can i select a combobox item by its value.please help.

The SelectedValue property could only be used if you have a data source and the ValueMember property is set. If you add items to the Items collection at design-time, take a look at the following article on how to select an item: http://www.telerik.com/support/kb/article/b454K-tma-b454T-ckk-b454c-ckk.aspx

If you are not using data binding you cannot use the SelectedValue property. You must use SelectedIndex.
