Hi,

I am attempting to upgrade our reports from Q1 2008 to Q2 2008 and receive this error shortly after opening the upgrade wizard from the IDE toolbar menu and clicking next.

Hello Charles,

To our greatest regret, because of time constraints during the Q2 2008 release, we did not have the chance to test the Upgrade Wizard in all possible scenarios. This is why it is still in beta state.

From the stack trace you have provided, it seems you have stumbled upon a bug when the Upgrade Wizard tries to parse the aspx pages of your web site for references to Telerik Reporting assemblies. If you are willing to help us track down the exact source of the problem, could you send us your web site, or at least the aspx pages.

In any case, you can always upgrade to the Q2 2008 release manually, as described in this KB article.

Please, accept our apologies for the inconvenience this bug has caused you! Your Telerik points have been updated for bringing this to our attention.

Sincerely yours,

the Telerik team
