I want to know if it is possible to restrict the export options per user, either programatically or in a configuration file. I want to do it per user, so the visible=false option in the web.config doesn't work for me, because that way innactivate the option for all users.

I appreciate your comments.
Greetings

Hi Ruben,

The report viewers are not capable to conditionally filter the rendering options. Our suggestion is to set the Web Report Viewer ShowExportGroup property to False and add your own drop down and export button that will show the export options depending on the users. Check out the attached sample project.

This seems like a necessary feature. I have summary reports that do not lend themselves to CSV or Excel exports, but I would like my users to be able to download them in PDF or XPS format. I should not need to write custom UI and export code to achieve simple filtering of the export type list.
