Hi
I have a menu with many items and the problem is i cannot select the first number of items.
They are outside the browser window as you can see from the screen shot.
I don't know how to solve this.

Hi guys,

Kendo Menu doesn't support scrolling, so the only way to avoid this is to come up with different Menu structure that will reduce the number of Menu items on one level.

Kind regards,

Can you somehow force it to render from the menu item and down, so you just get a scrollbar ?

Hi Winnie,

Adding overflow: scroll or auto in order to get a scrollbar would break the sub menus, as they are not detached and would be hidden by the overflow.

Hi Kamen,

We are faced with this same issue. In our case, we do not have the freedom to change the menu structure. We are using the menu control in a multi-tenant e-commerce platform where our customers dictate the menu structure.

Is the ability to have a scrolling sub-menu on the product road map?

Thank you,
Brian

Hello,

Unfortunately adding scrolling to Kendo UI Menu is not included in our immediate plans. However, you can help this feature get into one of our next release by voting for it at Kendo UI UserVoice feedback page.

Kamen,

After searching back through the forum threads, I found where you had added the popupCollision property as a workaround for this issue. Setting it's value to false solved the problem for us. Now our customer can use browser scrolling to see all of their items. Having the items scroll within the menu would be a little more "polished" but this works. Thank you for adding that new property.
