I think filtering in virtual mode in Q2/2010 is not functional. The same functionality  in Q1 is ok. When filter is active (user enter some filter), I don't recieve CellValueNeeded events. When I try to set RowCount in FilterChanged event, I get exception "Object reference not set to an instance of an object."

Hi Jan,

Thank you for contacting us.

I confirm that this feature does not work as expected in our current release. We are working on the issue and it will be addressed in our next major release - Q3 2010.

A bit off topic, please ask the person who has purchased our controls in your company to add you as a License Developer to the purchase. This will give you full access to the products your company has purchased, to our downloads section, and to our support ticketing system. Additionally, all your questions will be reviewed according to the license you have. More information on License Developers you can find here: www.telerik.com/account/faqs.aspx.

Hello dear admin,

I think this issue is not addressed in Q3 version, because i get same exception when i press Enter key in filter row in virtual mode.
Is there any way to workaround this issue?

thanks for your support.

Hi Hosein,

I confirm that the issue appears in our latest release. Currently, there is no work around for it. The issue is located in the data engine of RadGridView and this makes the process of addressing it harder. We want to be sure that addressing it will not break any other functionality in RadGridView. Because of all this I cannot give a specific time frame when the issue will be addressed. Please describe your scenario in detail and we will try to find an alternative solution.

I will be glad to help further and I am looking forward to your reply.

Best wishes,
Jack
