Problem launching app on Android

Hey!

First of all congrats for this amazing beta, it looks awesome..

I have a problem, and is that when I compile with dreamweaver then install the .apk on Android I launch it and after 1 or 2 seconds it closes himself...

What I am doing wrong?

I'm testing with the overview example..

About the issue - can you share more information about the version of Android and PhoneGap you are running your project on, and if possible - send us the project so we can test it ourselves?

Thanks for your reply.

I was testing these last days, and I could find out that on an SDK Android Emulator the app works fine, same on Android phone, but.. we all know that official android emulator it's pretty bad so I decided to install Android 2.3 on a virtual machine (VMware) and then if I install the .apk file on that virtual machine it's when I have the problem mentioned... the app launches correctly but after 1 second it closes automatically.

I'm using the last version of phonegap 1.3.0.

I'll try to upload the project somewhere and post here the link.

Hi,

If you're installing on a virtual machine, are you using the Android-x86 project. If this is the case, it may be that there's some kind of architecture incompatibility or bug there (for instance some of the more advanced CSS3 styling may hit a video driver bug, its an unofficial port after all). Does the application work if you exclude all Kendo Mobile javascript and/or CSS?
