Hi Telerik team,

The new feature, print preview, released with Q3 2011, is not rendering page number as expected. The Global object, PageCount, is not work. this worked well in Q2 2011.

You have any idea how to solve this?

Thanks
Giuliano Caetano

Hi Giuliano,

This problem has been fixed in the latest internal build that we released last week. Please download it from your account and upgrade to resolve the problem.

Sorry for the temporary inconvenience.

Greetings,

Having installed the latest internal build, I am still seeing some problems with this.  I have a report book containing three reports, report 1 and 2 are each one page long, report 3 consists of four pages.  The PageNumberStyle on all reports is set to Continue.

When initially previewed, the report view in the toolrbar correctly recognises that the page 1 of 6 is displayed but the total page count on the report displays only a total of 4 pages, i.e  Page 1 of 4 thro Page 6 of 4.

Using the toolbar button to switch to page layout mode, the report footer updates and now displays a total of 6 pages (i.e Page 1 of 6 thro Page 6 of 6.) but the total number of pages displayed on the toolbar has been reset to just 4.

Hope that is not too confusing, can post some screenshots if it helps to explain the problem.

Any thoughts?

Rgds
Graeme

Hello Graeme,

We were able to reproduce the problem and logged the issue to our bug tracking system. Unfortunately there is no workaround that we can offer for the time being and we would do our best to address the issue for the upcoming service pack in about a month.

Your Telerik points have been updated for bringing this to our attention.

Kind regards,
Steve
