Greetings!

I have a master report with several subreports in it.  I need to keep all of the sections for the subreports in my master report, but would like to print the word "None" or "No Records Found" whenever a subreport has no records.  Hopefully this is a simple thing to do... any suggestions?

Your assistance is appreciated!

Matt

Hi Matt,

Currently there is no out of the box solution to show a "No records found" message when there is no data. You can hide the subreport as shown in this blog post and show a TextBox with the desired message on its place.

Thank you, that was very helpful and I accomplished what I needed.  Are there any plans to add functionality to subreports to either hide them or display the "No Records Found" message in a future release?

Have a great day!

Hello Matt,

Yes, having a "No data/no records found" default message is logged in our features list.
