Print button is not working from Telerik Report viewer

Hello,

Telerik report is using in our product/application and it was working fine.

But from last few week we got incident from our customer that print button from reportviewer is not working.

Our developer are trying to find put this issue and found this issue is getting from Reportviewer control. Attached screenshot of reportviewer.

We are not getting any error message, onclick on print button nothing happen. Can you please suggest us how we can resolve this issue, as all our customers are raising same issue.

Hi Srujal,

Thank you for proving the screenshot. This is a known issue with the latest version of Google Chrome (77+).  Since the obsolete ASP.NET WebForms Report Viewer is in use, this will require using the Workaround described in the Knowledge Base Article.

Hi Oscar,

Unfortunately, Google decided to remove the Auto Print dialog from Chrome and it doesn't appear that they plan to bring this feature back. However, we have included a fix in Telerik Reporting Version 13.2.19.918 and several Workarounds for use with our controls. I recommend upgrading to the latest version of Telerik Reporting. If upgrading is not an option, try the provided workaround that closely matches your scenario.

We could collaborate with a solution not using Telerik Reporting Version 13.2.19.918, this in order to be able to solve our customers while we acquired the new version. Thank you

Hi Carlos,

You are correct. The workarounds provided in the Chrome Print Error knowledgebase article will work until the upgrade can be completed. I recommend using the one that closely matches your scenario.

Hello, Please help me something. I can't find out number of printed in telerik report on print button.

Hi Thit Htoo,

I would love to help you. However, I am not certain what the issue is in this case. The print button in the Report Viewer doesn't display the number of printed items as shown in the following screenshot. 

Additionally, the printing error in Chrome was resolved in a later version. If you are experiencing this error, I encourage updating Telerik Reporting and the Report Viewer.

Wrapping Up

If you are experiencing a diffferent issue, can you provide more detailed information on this? For example, where are you expecting to see the number of printed items or what is the end-user experience that displays the printed items?
