Hi,

Has anyone else noticed that when printing with RadRichTextBox that the headers and footers get cut or are missing when using some printers?

For example, when using my Lexmark laser printer everything prints as expected.
When using my Canon Ink Jet some pages are completely missing their headers & footers and some have part of their headers & footers missing.

I'm not very knowledgeable when it comes to the ins and outs of printers and their drivers, but it's odd that with some printers it works and others it doesn't.
My canon is capable of printing edge to edge so I can't see the page margin being the issues. Besides, the content doesn't get cropped top & bottom, but rather the left side content of the header may be missing and the right hand content may print out.

I've also noticed that when using the PDF creator tool (http://www.pdfforge.org/pdfcreator), which essentially acts as a virtual printer, I get the same strange results as if I were printing. So the PC printing the Lexmark Laser also works with PDF Creator, but the PC using the Canon Ink Jet also produces the wrong print output when using PDF creator.

Do you think this could be some kind of print driver issue?? As as I said previously, printers aren't my strong point so any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

I'm using Telerik library version 2013.1.220.40.

Many thanks,

Rob

Hi Rob,

Thank you for contacting us!

We are unaware of any similar issues. Unfortunately, I was unable to reproduce it. I tried this with the Q1 2013 release of Telerik UI for WPF, but everything works correctly on our end.

Could you please try printing from the attached WPF application which has no dependencies on Telerik UI for WPF and let us know how it works?

I am looking forward to your reply.
