Possible to Drag/Zoom and Select on a single chart ?

Is it possible have dragging/zooming along with selecting a range on a single chart ?  I can get each of these working, but not together.

Hello Robin,

If I understand correctly this scenario you would like to pan / zoom in the selected range? If this is the case I am afraid it is not supported by Kendo UI Chart at this point, however we will appreciate it if you submit this idea as a feature request at Kendo UI UserVoice page - this way the community would be able to vote and comment it. When planning for a release we gather and take into account all feedback from the UserVoice - the more votes a collection collects, the higher priority will have!

Sorry about that, should have been a bit more clear in my question.

Here is a sample JSbin that implements dragging/zooming just fine.  But when I add select to the categoryAxis to enable selection, I can no longer drag/zoom.  Mousewheel only manipulates the selection size, and dragging only changes the selection window location.

Is it possible to drag and zoom the entire chart, along with the ability to select a column ?

Thank you for the provided details. Unfortunately this functionality is also not supported by Kendo UI Chart at this point, however we will consider its implementation for future releases. Please excuse us for the inconvenience caused.
