Hello,
The DataContext in the template (PointTemplate) is the Data Point. The data point contains a reference to the original data item in its DataItem property. I have attached a simple project to demonstrate the use of data triggers in the label template. In the attached image you can see that the triggers were executed for x2 and x3 categories.
