We would like to use a locally bound Pivot Grid to display some reports.  I can get the columns and rows to my liking but the configurator does not display the fields so there is no way to really configure the grid.  This dojo shows my issue. http://dojo.telerik.com/eqax/2  Is this not supported?  Is there a work around I could use?

Hello Michael,

Currently, PivotConfigurator does not support JSON binding (at least the TreeView will not be populated). It is designed to work with OLAP (Discover methods in particular) and that is why the treeview is not populated. Such task for JSON binding support is in our TODO list and we will try to solve it for the upcoming service pack due the beginning of September.

Hello Michael,

We further investigate the case and with some additional tweaks in the data source, you can bind the treeview widget manually. Here is a concept demo, which shows how to accomplish this task. Please note that this demo is just a proof-of-concept and there could be unsupported scenarios. What we have done is to return the available dimensions, hierarchies (empty array) and measures as they are required by the TreeView widget. From there everything works as expected.
