[Solved] Pie/Donut Segment Flow Direction

Hi there,

I have a Pie and Doughnut chats with StartAngle: 180. The segments of the Pie or  Doughnut flows in clockwise direction.

I needed it to be flow in anti-clockwise direction keeping the startAngle at 180.

How can I achieve this in Kendo UI? what is the setting you recommend?

Attached the image of Desired and Actual together if that may be of any use for you to help me.

Hi Vinnie,

The Pie chart doesn't support other direction except clockwise. The workaround is to reverse the data that you pass to the pie chart.

I did try reversing the data. The problem is it also reverse the legends order - its display like 12 11 10 9 8 7 ..... 2 1 instead 1 2 3 4 5 ....11 12. 
Reversing the data is not a good workaround. 

Would this be considered for future release??

Hi Vinnie,

Unfortunately there is no other workaround at the moment. We haven't any plans to implement this feature but I would suggest to submit your request in Kendo's UserVoice so other members of the community can evaluate, comment on and vote for it.
