Pdf Annotations have incorrect position

Hello!

 

 

If Pdf file contains page with relocated mediabox and cropbox, there are annotations on that page will be in the wrong position.

 

I attached 2 files:

Sample_Correct.pdf - http://u.pc.cd/PCVrtalK

Sample_Incorrect.pdf - http://u.pc.cd/dEI

and 2 screens:

Sample_Correct.png and Sample_Incorrect.png

 

Difference between these files, that incorrect file has moved media and crop boxes.

Hi Vladimir,

Which version of the suite are you using? I have tested this with the latest version of the suite and it seems to works as expected. Please note that in the latest version we have completely changed the PdfViewer engine and now it uses the PdfProcessing library.

With version 2020_3_915 this works great! But, after updating to the new version I stopped seeing other annotations, which were visible before.

I attached example 'Disappear.png'. With version '2020.2.617' I see annotation 'Hello', with version '2020.3.915' - I dont see.

Hello Vladimir,

I have examined this and currently, the free text annotations are not supported, both engines only support their visualization. In this case, there is an issue with the position of the first annotation and this is why it is no visualized. I have logged this issue on our feedback portal. You can track its progress, subscribe to status changes, and add your comment to it here. I have updated your Telerik points as well.

Unfortunately due to the nature of the issue, I cannot suggest a workaround for it.
