We have noticed in Q1 2010 of Telerik Reporting that if you apply a style to a textbox that includes changing the font, font size, forground color and positioning within the textbox, and then copy and apply that style to one or more other textbox controls that the Font does not change in the pasted textbox controls. All other changes are applied, but the Font remains Tahoma instead of your altered selection.

Hello David House,

We have tried to reproduce this behavior but with no success. Could you please, describe the exact steps which lead to the problem. With a simple report and several TextBox items on it we cannot reproduce the issue. Thanks in advance.

Best wishes,

Here is the environment:

Visual Studio 2008, SQL Server 2008 (Local).

Table with several fields in it and several rows for testing.

Add the columns to a report set up as follows:

Data source: Telerik.Reporting.SqlDataSource

Report type: Standard

Layout type: Stepped

Style: Normal

Report Fields: none

Group Fields: none

Detail Fields: TechID, Name, Level, Rate (all columns from the sample table)

Adjust to fit: True

Create summaries: False

Edit Style on the TechID column data field: Set Font to Comic Sans MS, Point Size to 14, Color to Red and Text Position to Middle and Center.

Then Right Click on TechID column data field, and Copy font. Select all three of the other fields and right click and select Apply Style. Everything gets applied except the Font, which remains the default Tahoma font it was.

Hi David,

We are not able to reproduce the issue even after following your steps. Please, see the attached video and let us know if we are still missing something.

If you can download a copy of TeamViewerQS.exe, I will gladly show you what I am doing.

It does it every time for me...

Let me know...

Hello David House,

It will be best if you download Jing and make us a movie. To send it you will have to open a support ticket. It will be appreciated if you attach the report definition as well.

All the best,
Chavdar
