Passing data from Silverlight for report generation

Is it possible to send the data source object for the report generation from Silverlight? My issue is that the working dataset is located on the Silverlight side of the application. If this is possible, please point me in the right direction.

Sending data from a Silverlight application to the Reporting engine is not a trivial task and requires to set up a service. Please elaborate on your exact business scenario such as the source of the data so we can advise a more feasible way to achieve your requirement.
