Hello,

Is there a way to set max width for parameter boxes in the parameter area?

I am using a drop-down parameter with string values. The box becomes very wide because it contains some long string values but then it becomes unusable. See the attached pictures.

Hello,

I was able to reproduce the problem from your screenshots. The hidden tick of the dropdown is definitely not desired behaviour even when the string values are long. Therefore, I will log a bug for the standalone designer and give you points for finding it.

However, there is no way to set max-width for parameter boxes in the parameter area and, currently, the solutions I can give you is to either preview the report in a viewer (not the preview functionality of the designer) or increase your monitor DPI if possible. Fortunately, the viewers have their own display logic and the clients viewing the report will be able to click on the dropdown and configure the option.
