Hello, we have a need to be able to display different values in the header/footer depending on the page.
For one item, I want to display one piece of text ONLY on the first page and leave it blank on subsequent pages and not have any white space.
Another item, I want to display on the bottom/footer of a page the range of items that are located on the page.   For example, on page one we may have items "1 to 5", second page "6 to 12" and last page "13 to 18".  Any suggestions on how I can accomplish this?

A third item, unrelated:  I have a need to take multiple PDF files and combine them together.  Is there a solution that is within telerik or do I need to acquire a third party tool>

Thanks,

Hello Kelly,

Data processing and paging are two separate processes and furthermore, each rendering extension has a different paging mechanism which complicates the task even more. In this line of thoughts, until we implement some awareness between those two processes, you cannot accomplish "page relative" report. This is in our TODO list and once we start working on it, it would be included in our RoadMap.
Your second inquiry is the same as #1.
About your third inquiry - if those pdf files are created from existing Telerik Reports, you can use the Report Book feature to combine the reports and export them as a single document. If those are external PDF files, then the answer is no - Telerik Reporting cannot help you combine those files.

Best wishes,

Thank You for your reply.  Unfortunately I directed a customer to your reporting expecting the software to be able to handle all of their needed features.  At this point I may have to redirect them to a different solution.  Do you have a time frame when these features (page aware) will be incorporated?

Hi Kelly Harris,

Thank you for your vote.

As stated in your previous thread, this is in our TODO list but at this point we cannot make estimates as to when we would start working on it. Once we have a clear view on the problem and how we can address it, we will published in our RoadMap.

Kind regards,
Steve
