Hello,
My requirement is similar to what is displayed in attachment: “Page mockup.jpg”. Here I have one main report and a sub report in detail section which displays the data in table. Once the table data ends in Sub report, I need to show some text data with total page count in one text control and I’m using Report footer section of Sub report to show those details. There is no page break I can embed for this text that appears once table details end.
Also, the Page count details need to appear above total details of Table. Repositioning of data is not acceptable and this is the only way a report design is required. Would request to suggest alternate and solution for both the problems (Page count row positioning in a table and Total Page count value in text box as expected). Would appreciate if you can provide me some sample to depict how these can be implemented

Hello Neha,

Below is a quote from my post in your support ticket on the same question:

"Sub reports' page sections are ignored in the master report and any items there will not be rendered in the master report - SubReport item overview.

The PageExec function is the only one that allows you to make calculations per page, and the function can be used only in Page sections. Thus the total will have to be placed in the master report's PageFooter as in the demo sent in my previous post.

If the purpose is to export existing UI into PDF or other format, depending on the type of web application, please consider using Teler UI for AJAX - RadPdfProcessing, RadWordsProcessing. You may be interested also in Telerik UI for ASP.NET AJAX RadClientExportManager, which allows you to render HTML pages in PDF and image formats. In MVC project you can use Telerik Kendo UI PDF export (works like the ClientExportManager without requiring AJAX)."

Hello Stef,

I have gone thru these links. but in my case, I don't have any existing UI and only have template how final report should look like.

Related to other recommendation on having Total on Master report's footer section - again on last page if the table doesn't fill all space on page then there would be gap between my page footer section and where table data ends. which may not be acceptable. Is there a way to overcome this and have Page Total and table total rows displayed immediate after my table data ends as depicted on screenshot attached.

I have also one more issue mentioned in this post as: after we display table and its page total and Grand total. on left space of the page we have to show another static text where in one field we have to show page count also. Any work around to do this as well?
