Page break inside detail section

Hi,

 

I have this scenario. I have a report with a header, a detail section and a footer. Inside of detail section I added a crosstab and a picture box. I want that the Crosstab and the picture box to start on new page (the crostab should start on a new page and then when the picture is drawn, the pciture should start on a new page). The problem is that I saw that the page break option can be used only on detail section. How can I accomplish this ?

I have also tried to add to report a header, 2 detail sections and footer but the report does not accept 2 setail sections.

Hello Calin,

Page break can be forced using report sections only. With this in mind, you can place PictureBox item into a separate section which is rendered after the Detail section (Group Footer) and set PageBreak properties for both sections.

To render the Group Footer section for each detail record (after each Detail section) set a grouping criteria for the report group to the detail data field.

If I add the PictureBox to Group footer section doesn't mean that the picture box it will be rendered on every page ? Can you provide a code sample of what you explained to me ?

Hi Cosmin,

You can review the attached report that demonstrate the example settings. PictureBox item will be repeated after each detail section and will start on a new page as PageBreak property of the section is set to After.
