Hello ardmore,
By default the border for the GridViewHeaderCells has a BorderThickness of 1. That said you can change that by adding an implicit style targeting GridViewHeaderCell or setting the HeaderCellStyle property of the columns. You can check out some more information about that in the Styling Column Headers article in our documentation.
