I would like to find out if there is a good way of applying DTED information on top of the RadMap so that whenever a user clicks on the
Map location the elevation information can be retrieved. Currently it seems to me that the RadMap can read data from shape files only.
Possible to convert DTED to raster base information to be applied on RadMap?

RadMap doesn't have a built-in support for the DTED format. In order to display information from this data format you will need to parse it manually and add it in visual elements in a map's layer. Basically, you can convert the data in a WPF and RadMap friendly information (like latitude, longitude, width, height, path, geometry, color, etc.) and use UI elements or map shape data to present the information from the file.
