Hi,

we use the RadDiagram as OrgChart. In your Example you have one CEO (Andrew Fuller) the next two Persons are President QA (Jeremy Boather) and President Dev. Dept. (Steven Buchanan).

Is it possible to have perhaps two CEO with one President in the next step? Or Two Presidents with one employee for each?
How must the xml file look like?

thanks
Best Regards
Rene

Hi Rene,

You can take a look at the structure of the current XML here. You can see that we defined hierarchical data. The CEO is the root, the presidents are his direct children and so on. If you define a sibling of the CEO you will start a new structure. You need to keep in mind that there is no restriction in the structure when it comes to visualization.

However, if you need to get advantage of the Layout feature of the RadDiagram you need to make sure that your hierarchy has only one root. In other words you need to make sure that the company has pyramid like structure.

In case that you need to define more than one root, your structure becomes a graph and you will need to customize the default layout algorithm.
