The tree node text is very light. You can see it in the TreeView theming sample application. Interestingly, in the PanelBar sample, the TreeView text on the Mail panel looks good.

Hello Mark Griebling,
That is quite interesting. In both examples not only the color, but the font used for the nodes' text is the same.
Maybe the slightly darker background in the RadTreeView theming example is tricking you.
