Not able to select empty string item inside dropdown list

Hi,

When ever there is a empty string value in dropdown list, it is not appearing in the dropdown list. Please see the screen shot below ( the blue color line is the empty string item)... it is not shown properly

This is an old issue, which was discussed in other forum topics, but it is already fixed. Here is a JS Bin example, which demonstrates a working approach. If you are still experiencing the issue, please reproduce it in the example, so I could assist you further.
