Hi, Hemanth,

I would like to mention that our controls are using MSAA automation, not UIA, and you should use a tool that supports MSAA. By implementing MSAA (Microsoft Active Accessibility) we provide also support for windows narrators to help visually impaired people.

For example, Inspect (Inspect.exe) can spy Microsoft UI Automation properties and control patterns, as also Microsoft Active Accessibility (MSAA) properties, by switching Inspect from UIA to MSAA:

I hope this information helps. If you need any further assistance please don't hesitate to contact me.

Hello, Hemanth,

The AutomationID is part of the UI Automation API which is developed to be used in WPF applications. It is not part of the MSAA standard and simply switching from UI Automation to MSAA in the inspect.exe tool will not find an AutomationID.

I have logged it in our feedback portal by creating a public thread on your behalf. You can track its progress, subscribe for status changes, and add your comments on the following link - feedback item.

I have also updated your Telerik Points

Do not hesitate to contact us if you have other questions.
