I can not use the latest Reporting as I have to keep the version in synch with the version of reporting used by Sitefinity. The current documentation on Reporting says to "Select the Report Library" project in Visual Studio. The version of Reporting I am using (7.1.13.612 ) did not come with a Report Library project template. If my memory is correct, creating a report project use to involve creating a normal class library in visual studio and making some changes to it. Can you provide me with instructions on creating a report project or preferably give me a link to the documentation relevant to the version I am using.

Hello David,

Telerik Reporting are distributed by Telerik Sitefinity in relation to an integrated reporting module.

To be able to create and work with reports, you will need to install the whole Telerik Reporting product on the machine, which will allow you to use the VS Report Designer and the Standalone Report Designer. To integrate reports in your Sitefinity projects, the recommended version is the one tested with Telerik Sitefinity e.g., Telerik Reporting Q2 2013 v7.1.13.612 in the case.

Based on your account information, the above mentioned version can be downloaded after logging into this account and navigating to Products & Subscriptions - DevCraft - Download - Reporting - Older Versions - 7.1.13.612. There is also a CHM (documentation) download link for each release.

I hope the provided information is helpful.

Regards,
Stef
