Hello,

I've got a chart working with several line series (see 4a).

I'd like to see how to incorporate different type of line series, perhaps bar chart, more of a "threshold" chart correlating X and Y axes (see 4b).

Is something like this possible using Telerik RadChartView?

*Edit*: not sure the terminology here. I believe it's known as a "range bar". In our case we want to illustrate thresholds, that sort of thing.

Regards,

Michael Powell

Just a cursory glance at the series types, I'm not sure Telerik has the series type we are looking for, or perhaps it can be done with a creative use of other series, like bar, perhaps, I don't know. Like a bar overlayed by line series.

I was thinking perhaps Candlestick might be it, but I don't know you can mix X-Y or Y-X. Seems very domain specific application to me: i.e. for stocks, which why not, but suddenly then is less useful to the rest of the known charting world.

Hi Michael,

RadChartView does not support this type of chart built-in. The only way to implement this chart type and functionality is to use custom rendering. Please review
custom rendering article in our online documentation for additional details.

I hope this helps.
