I'm using Telerik Reporting Q2 2012 controls.  Is there a limit to the number of crosstabs that can be added per report? It seems as though I'm only able to use 2 at a time - whenever I add a 3rd I get "object reference not set to an instance of an object" in the Preview window.  My report is unbound and I have separate data sources for each crosstab.

I've made three separate crosstab reports and am able to display them all on a single report using subreports, so I'm able to accomplish what I need to.  It seems though that I should be able to have more than 2 crosstabs on a report if necessary...

Hello Brian,

Unfortunately we're unable to reproduce such a problem in our local tests. We have the following questions:

  • What is your data (respectively how you bind the CrossTabs)
  • Does this happen only in a single project. What if you create a brand new project in a new solution?
  • Does this happen only if you use Table/CrossTab Wizard? What if you drag & drop the Table to the report designer, set its datasource property and then use the Data Explorer and Group Explorer to create the layout you want?
  • Does the problem occur at runtime i.e. when you actually run your application, and not when using Preview?

Any information you find relevant would be appreciated.

Kind regards,
Steve
