I have two fields that go into a DocumentMapText so they will appear in the document map of the report viewer.

When I put them on one line, it is too long and jagged looking.  I've tried separating them with "<br/>" but that just renders in a span.

Is there anyway of doing this?

 Thanks.

Hi Rob,

HTML tags like "</br>" do not work with DocumentMapText property because it is not a HtmlTextBox, the HtmlTextBox is the only item that you can use HTML tags with.

You can add a new line by simply clicking Enter where you want the new line to startthere isn't any other way out of the box.

You could also probably use User Functions where you can use things like "\n" or Environment.NewLine to insert a new line in your string at specific locations. For more information, you can visit Extending Report Designer.

Please let me know if you have any other questions.
